Sort your AI tools. Find your first AI job.
A worksheet in six parts: sort your AI tools, find the stuck work, put a number on it, set some jobs aside, pick your top three and count the hours.
Anyone can use it, no email needed.
What decision this helps you make
You decide which AI tools to keep paying for, which to test, and which to cancel, from the hours and the yearly staff cost you write down for each one.
What you walk away with
Your sorted tool list and three jobs ranked in your own numbers, each with an owner and a "before" number.
For owners. Published by Drag6.
We don't ask for your email to download a worksheet. The download is counted as an analytics event that doesn't include your name or email, so we can see which worksheets people use. Read the privacy policy.
You can fill in the same six parts in the tool-sort calculator. Or paste the tool-sort coach into Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini and it walks you through the sort. Prefer to do Parts 2 to 5 on screen? Use the first AI job tool.
What's inside
- Part 1, sort your AI tools: list each AI tool you pay for, its monthly cost and what you pay for it to do, then mark it keep, test or cancel, with an owner and one number to watch.
- Part 2, find the stuck work: pick one team and one normal week, and list the work that got dropped, redone or delayed.
- Part 3, put a number on it: hours a week times people times rate gives a yearly value, with four rates by company size from BLS data.
- Part 4, set some jobs aside: hold any job where the process is broken, or where it touches customer data and you don't have rules yet.
- Part 5, pick your top three: the three jobs with the biggest yearly value, each with an owner and a "before" number to check in 90 days.
- Part 6, count the hours: how many hours a week the owner of job 1 can give it, on top of their day job.
Who it's for
For an owner who pays for more than one AI tool and needs to decide what stays, using the hours and cost at their own company.
